Since its establishment in 1999, Environics has extensively contributed to the development and enhancement of the industrial scene in Egypt at the national strategy, policy and regulatory levels, as well as park/cluster/estate and facility levels through various environmental and social studies. The firm has cumulative and in depth knowledge of the processes of the Egyptian industrial activities, and their outputs and wastes, as well as the feasibility and viability of technological opportunities in the sector. Environics has provided consultancy services to a large number of fertilizer, chemical and petrochemical complexes and facilities in Egypt, to ensure their compliance with national and international requirements and standards. These projects comprise several major new complexes in Sokhna, Aswan, New Valley, Assiut, Gharbiya, among several other projects of various scales. Environics services for these industries have included: Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIAs); Risk Assessment Studies, such as QRA and HAZOP; Environmental and Social Due Diligence (ESDD) studies; Environmental and Social Audits; Compliance Action Plans (CAPs); Air Dispersion Modelling Studies; Pollution Abatement Studies, and Toxic Release Inventory, as well as other services.
