Mr. Shady has had extensive experience since 2007 in conducting and reporting on various environmental management studies, including Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Audits, Environmental Monitoring Plans (EMPs) and Risk Assessment (RA), for several sectors, such as industry, infrastructure, oil & gas and energy. Mr. Shady’s experience in the field of EIAs has started in 2007, when he joined the Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency (EEAA) as an Environmental Researcher, responsible for reviewing EIA studies in various fields. Moving on to Environics in 2009, Mr. Shady’s EIA experience encompasses: participating in carrying out and reviewing environmental baseline studies and surveys; supervising the implementation of and reporting on site sampling; describing and analysing different components and stages of projects for technological and environmental impact assessment; assessing alternatives and mitigation measures for sound environmental management, as well as conducting and reporting on meetings with various stakeholders.
Mr. Shady’s experience in EHS includes: reviewing documentation and assessing compliance with legal and corporate requirements, site inspection, and development of corrective action plans. His experience in environmental monitoring and the development of EMPs includes: development of Sampling and Analysis Plans (SAPs), and assessing compliance of measured parameters with national, international and client requirements and regulations.
