Environics, dedicated to providing expert environmental consulting services to clients in various sectors, are currently seeking highly motivated and experienced Senior Environmental Consultants to join our team on a full-time basis.
Requirements:
- B.Sc. in Engineering (Chemical, Civil, Environmental, Electrical, or Mechanical) or Science (Chemistry or Physics),
- M.Sc. in a field relevant to environmental consultancy is preferable.
- A minimum of ten years of experience in an environment-related field.
- Robust Experience in ESHS audits.
- Technical research and reporting skills and experience.
- Familiar with Egyptian environmental legislations and international standards (such as IFC and EBRD).
- Perfect Arabic and fluent English is a must. A third language is a plus.
- Preferably a resident of Greater Cairo
Duties:
The Candidate is expected to manage and lead a team in more than one of the following activities as well as participate as a team member in others:
- Proposal writing for specific assignments
- Assignment-level planning, implementation and reporting.
- Fieldwork, data analysis, impact assessment and reporting for EIAs/ESIAs of projects in various sectors.
- Planning, implementation and reporting for HSE audits, site investigations and assessment, due-diligence and development of HSEMS, etc. for various sectors.
- Compiling, reviewing, discussing and editing outputs from external consultants and subcontractors
- Research and/or policy assignments in the fields of environmental or management, as needed.
Organizational Position:
Reporting to Principal Consultant, and managing the project’s team
