Flash flood Hazard and Protection, as part of the IEIA for Gamsha Bay Tourism Project
Pollution Abatement and Risk Assessment
DAMAC Properties had contracted Environics to conduct an Integrated Environmental Impact Assessment (IEIA) for their planned tourism project at Gamsha Bay, on the coast of the northern Red Sea, Egypt.
Within the scope of the baseline and impact assessment studies carried out for this project, a detailed investigation of surface hydrology and flash flood hazard was undertaken.
Protective measures against flash flood hazard were recommended based on this investigation.
