- DAMAC Properties had contracted Environics to conduct an Integrated Environmental Impact Assessment (IEIA) for their planned tourism project at Gamsha Bay, on the coast of the northern Red Sea, Egypt.
- Within the scope of the baseline and impact assessment studies carried out for this project, a detailed investigation of surface hydrology and flash flood hazard was undertaken.
- Protective measures against flash flood hazard were recommended based on this investigation.
