Ms. Esraa Saber is a Senior Environmental Consultant with nearly 20 years of expertise in ecology and climate change. She combines deep technical knowledge with high-level governmental experience, having served as Director of the Climate Change Research Department at the Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency (EEAA), leading national research, supporting climate negotiations, and shaping Egypt’s climate strategies and vulnerability plans.
Her work spans biodiversity conservation, climate impact and vulnerability assessments, GHG emissions estimation, critical habitat studies, and Biodiversity Action Plans, aligned with Egyptian law and international standards (IFC, EBRD, World Bank). She is highly skilled in GIS, remote sensing, nature-based solutions, and has contributed to complex environmental and social impact assessments (ESIAs) across energy, industrial, infrastructure, and conservation projects.
With a strong background in biodiversity research, protected area management, public awareness, and international climate initiatives (including COP processes), she effectively bridges science, policy, and practical implementation in climate- and nature-focused consultancy.
