Dr. Korkor has more than 37 years of experience in the fields of energy and natural gas planning, conservation, pricing and environmental projects, studies and activities on both macro and micro levels.  His record encompasses holding high management and consultancy positions at the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS), the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC), the Organization for Energy Planning (OEP) among other international and national energy concerned entities, including:  Observatoire Mediterraneen De L’Energie (OME), Paris, France; African Petroleum Producing Countries Association (APPA); the United Nations Economic Committee for Europe (UNECE); the Egyptian Cabinet of Ministers and the World Energy Council (WEC).  Dr. Korkor has participated in and supervised several studies in the areas of: energy resources, production, conversion and consumption; sectoral energy consumption; energy pricing; Energy supply/demand balances & forecasting, and environmental impacts of implementing alternative energy planning policies & options.  He has also supervised the utilization of various available energy planning models and tools in conducting integrated energy planning activities and studies.
