- Environics was commissioned to carry out baseline environmental investigations for 2×50 MWAC photovoltaic (PV) plants in Benban, Aswan, and that encompassed performing an ecological survey, noise measurements, and surface water Analyses.
- The Surface Water Analyses of the two sites aimed at determining potential flash flood hazards and adequate protective measures (if needed).
- Both studies utilized the available data, statistics, information and maps, and were based on the Digital Elevation Model (DEM).
- Protective measures were recommended.
