- To comply with the requirements of law 15/2017 & its executive regulations no. 1082/2017, and at the request of the environmental department in the Industrial Development Authority, Nissan Motors Egypt commissioned Environics to conduct an environmental audit and prepare a compliance action plan for its existing plant located in 6th of October industrial area.
- Environics carried out the plant’s environmental field audit and prepared the audit report which included: general company data, description of the production processes, description of the service units, input and products, legal requirements, and environmental aspects of the Nissan Motors Egypt plant. Moreover, the report included: summary of conclusions & recommendations of the necessary procedures to enable the plant to achieve environmental compliance.
- Based on the audit, Environics prepared the plant’s Compliance Action Plan (CAP) that included: a set of proposed compliance procedures to enhance and improve the environmental performance, the timeframe and responsibilities required to implement the plan after being approved by the General Authority for Industrial Development.
