Makro Egypt was planning to conduct environmental compliance audits for five of its wholesale projects in Cairo and Alexandria governorates; an assignment for which Environmental Resources Management (ERM) was contracted and Environics was subcontracted for assistance.
Environics presented a comprehensive document covering the relevant Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Egyptian regulations and guidelines, and permitting requirements, as well as ensuring that the necessary permits were in place.
Environics also provided the client with detailed historical land use maps and groundwater information for each of the five sites in Cairo and Alexandria.
