TCI intended to design and implement an EHS management system for its chemical plant at Port Said.
Environics started with assessing the situation at the time, and analysing the gaps to identify the requirements for developing an HSE action plan and management system that ensure compliance with local regulations and IFC guidelines.
This entailed comprehensive HSE performance audits of the operation and construction activities, since the company was in process of expanding the plant to include a new production line.
The audit process included identifying HSE risks and indicating the compliance status with proper safe activities and practices.
Based on the audits, Environics developed a detailed HSE risk register and a comprehensive HSE action plan, followed by several HSE procedures and instructions to document the system.
