DP World Sokhna commissioned Environics to conduct an HSE compliance audit and prepare a legal register for its operations at Sokhna Port. The assignment aimed to:
- Assess compliance with Egyptian HSE laws and regulations.
- Identify gaps and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
- Keep DP World updated on regulatory changes to support effective HSE planning and alignment.
The audit covered container handling, bulk cargo, equipment maintenance, wastewater treatment, and irrigation. Environics prepared the legal register in Arabic and updated it once after three months.
Excluded tasks: HR reviews, compliance action plans, EIAs, safety system assessments, international standards, field analysis, stakeholder interviews, and English translation of reports.
