- Sukari Gold Mine was establishing an additional North tailing storage facility (TSF2) similar to the one already onsite and that necessitated a scoped Environmental Impact assessment (EIA) study. Environics was commissioned to conduct this study according to both Egyptian requirements as well as the requirements of Equator Principles.
- Environics examined the policy, legal and administrative framework (National and International), gave a description of the proposed project and the existing baseline information, analyzed alternatives, identified & assessed the environmental impacts, and developed the Environmental Management Plan.
