- Eni was planning to build a 50 MW Photo-voltaic Plant within the Belayim Oil Field concession, on the East Coast of Suez Gulf, to provide renewable energy to the Belayim Oil Field operations.
- Environics was commissioned to provide technical support to the Preliminary Environmental Social and Health Impact Assessment (Pre-ESHIA) of Belayim PV Plant.
- Environics scope of work included assistance in the investigation of the territorial constraints of the project as part of its legal framework, as well as review of the social & health baseline.
