- EPPC was planning to construct a new offshore berth (terminal) for gas tankers offshore its existing petrochemicals plant located about 15 kilometers west of Port Said harbour on the Mediterranean Sea.
- The EIA covered all the project’s phases, including the drilling, installation and operation, according to the requirements of the Egyptian Environmental Law 4/1994 and its executive regulations.
- The QRA covered the project’s construction and operation phases, and presented recommendations for minimizing & mitigating any risks.
