L’Oreal Egypt was planning expand its currently operating plant in the 10th of Ramadan City to add a new Skin Care Unit, as well as introduce a number of production process and wastewater management modifications.
Environics was commissioned to conduct Category B EIA studies for these projects, as required by Egyptian regulations.
The studies provided project descriptions, and detailed the environmental laws and regulations relevant to the project. The studies assessed the environmental impacts, recommended appropriate mitigation measures for each impact, and developed the Environmental Management and Monitoring Plans.
