EIA form B studies for adjustment and packing of chemicals at Egypt Global Silicates Company, Ataqa, Suez

Egypt Global Silicates Company was in the process of introducing new projects for the adjustment of physical characteristics and packing of a number of chemical substances, as well as adding new and separate production lines, within its existing facility at Ataqa Industrial Area, Suez. Environics was commissioned to carry out the EIA studies required for these projects.

The proposed projects were to be located and fully implemented inside the perimeters of the current, environmentally approved facility site, as well as use the existing facility utilities.

The projects required Form (B) EIA studies, in accordance with the Egyptian laws and regulations. Environics carried out the studies, which covered the construction and operation phases of the project and comprised: Project information and description of the project phases; Legal framework; Analysis of environmental impacts, Proposed mitigation measures and Environmental Management and Monitoring Plans.
